Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the team in the wake of the controversy from his public comments.

He was omitted from a European match after making accusations and stating his relationship with manager had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the player.
Moving Forward
The player stated that the team's response remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the period after the initial controversy. Jones believes the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, performing and securing victories.”
